CET Technology provides UL recognized power transformers in six different form factors, ranging from 1.1VA to 175VA rating. Custom voltages and power ratings are available. Find the power transformer you need.
Transformers come in a wide variety of types and sizes including:
Switching Transformers, Power Transformers, Current Sense Transformers, Toroidal Transformers, Class 2 Transformers, High Voltage Transformers, Encapsulated Transformers and more.
At CET Technology we can customize any transformer to your specifications. For example, we explain the design of a switching transformer in the article below:
A switching transformer is typically used in electronic power applications to convert a DC input voltage to a different DC output voltage. The amount of power delivered to the load can be controlled by varying the switching frequency and duty cycle of the transformer.
CET Technology designs and manufactures custom switching transformers for all power supply topologies. Transformers for use in supplies that range from very low power to more than 1kW have been developed and produced by CET with switching frequencies up to 300kHz. CET Technology designs and manufactures current sense transformers for a variety of current monitoring applications. A current sense transformer is typically designed to work with a one or two turn primary and a specific load resistance to obtain a fixed ratio of output voltage to primary current. While frequently designed with a toroidal core, current sense transformers can be configured in almost any form factor to suit your application. The accuracy of the current sense transformer depends mainly on the core material and the turns ratio.
CET Technology designs and manufactures step down transformers for any voltage or application. Step downs can be either isolating or non-isolating (autotransformers.)
Step Down Transformers are transformers that convert a higher voltage to a lower voltage. They are most often used to adapt equipment to operate at different line voltages (e.g. to run a 120V device on a 220V AC line); or to convert line voltage to a lower, safer voltage for distribution throughout a piece of equipment (e.g. converting 120VAC to 24VAC to power various systems within a larger piece of equipment.)

CET Technology provides UL recognized toroidal transformers with practically any voltage and power rating.
CET Technology provides UL Class 2 recognized power transformers for a variety of applications. Find the Class 2 transformer you need and request a quote today.
CET Technology designs and manufactures a line of standard high voltage transformers. Primary voltages range from 100 to 240VAC at 50/60Hz. Output voltages range from 2000 to 10,000VAC, with power ratings as high as 230VA.
CET Technology designs and manufactures a line of encapsulated PCB mount transformers, ranging from .35VA to 30VA. Standard primary voltage is 115/230VAC, with standard secondary voltages of 6, 9, 12, 15, 18, and 24VAC. Encapsulating the transformer in a potted case allows for greater isolation in a given size package. Find the Encapsulated Transformer you need. Custom voltages and power ratings are also available.
CET Technology designs and manufactures custom and standard audio transformers for a variety of impedance transformation applications. Audio transformers are typically designed to meet a required maximum distortion requirement over a desired frequency range.
Planar transformers are transformers with winding coils that are in a predominantly spiral configuration, most often as traces on a PCB. This allows the transformer to be lower profile than traditionally wound transformers, and maintain high power densities.
Planars are most suited for very high switching frequency applications. Because of the PCBs used, there may be initial tooling charges. CET Technology can design and manufacture new planar transformers for your application, or customize existing designs.
